Pakdee Tanapura
Born in Udornthani, Thailand, Pakdee graduated from Thammasat University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He then went on to further his studies in International Law in Paris, France at the University of Paris 2 (Faculte de Droit, Pantheon). He completed his Master’s there as well as the first year of the doctorate program, Diplome d’etudes approfondies (DEA) at the same university.
Back in Bangkok for over 20 years, Pakdee has been active in his support of the musical activities of the Ibycus Chamber Orchestra and the Ibycus concert series. He even participated in the orchestra as cellist until his business activities proved to be too demanding on his time.
For others, Pakdee is also known for his passionate support of the Kra Canal project and currently holds the position of International Director and Acting Spokesman of the Board of Directors of the International Executive Committee for the Study of the Kra Canal Project.
Today Pakdee is the owner of Fong Tong Enterprise, a printing business and is a Board member of the Singapore-Thai Chamber of Commerce.
